+ Which smartwatches is REFSIX compatible with?

If you have an iPhone, REFSIX works on all Apple Watches. If you have an Android phone, REFSIX works with all WearOS (previously called Android Wear) watches. We have a list of common watches here: Watch Selector Page. Note that whilst Android Wear watches can be connected to iPhones, you will be unable to download the REFSIX watch app. We do not current support Samsung/Garmin/Fitbit watches, although we are looking to support more watches in the future. If your watch is not listed please e-mail us at contact@refsix.com, as we are always testing REFSIX on the latest watches.

+ Can I use REFSIX without a smartwatch?

Not really. We designed REFSIX to be quick and easy to use during the match and for that reason, all of the match incidents can only be recorded through the watch. Without a watch you can download and login to the mobile app, create fixtures and view any historical matches.

+ Do I need my mobile phone with me while refereeing a match?

No, we’ve designed the app to work in such a way you only need the watch with you on the pitch. You can sync data between your phone and the watch before and after the match.

+ Do I need access to wi-fi or an internet connection?

No, on match day no internet connection is necessary. Whenever you have internet the app will seamlessly sync with our cloud which allows you to see your fixtures through our website and across multiple devices.

+ Do you have a user guide?

Yes, we have detailed user guides for both Android and iOS. These explain how to use all of the features of the watch and phone apps. Click here to download the user guides. We also have a video walkthrough of how to get started with REFSIX.

+ I don't see the REFSIX app on my WearOS watch

When installing REFSIX on an Android Phone that is connected to a WearOS, the watch app might not automatically download. To get the app, open the Play Store on the watch. Scroll down until you see 'Apps on your phone' section. You should see REFSIX listed here. Simply tap on the app to install on your watch. Once installation is complete you should be all set. Please note, we don't currently support syncing WearOS watches with iPhones.

+ I bought a subscription but am unable to login to the app.

Please make sure that you update the app to the latest version from the Google Play or Apple App store and then try to login again. If you still have issues, please drop us an email at contact@refsix.com

+ What if I don't receive teamsheets before a game?

No problem, you can simply select player numbers without player names.

+ Which languages is REFSIX available in?

We currently support English, German, Dutch, Portuguese, Norwegian and Japanese. We have misconduct codes in more languages too. Please e-mail us at contact@refsix.com with your requested language so we can add it to our list.

+ Where is REFSIX currently used?

REFSIX is used by thousands of referees world-wide. From newly qualified all the way up to FIFA referees.

+ Something doesn't look right on my watch/phone

We're sorry about that! Drop us an email at contact@refsix.com stating the make and model and we will fix it as soon as we can.

+ Can I pause my subscription?

If you are on one of our monthly plans, we can pause your PRO subscription. This will downgrade you to the FREE version of the app. All of your data will remain intact and once your subscription resumes you will regain access to all of the PRO features. If you are on one of our annual plans, we are really sorry but we are unable to pause until your next renewal date. You may prefer a monthly subscription if you want greater flexibility.
