DBU Fodbold app integration with REFSIX

REFSIX are delighted to announce a deepening integration with the Danish Football Association (DBU). Our app now syncs both ways - games are imported automatically, and match data (cards/goal scorers) are synced back to the DBU system.

This change enables referees to play a vital role in enhancing the experience for players, coaches, fans, and parents. in matches where no volunteers (livescore reporters) are on the side-line. The process of delivering scores will not be affected – the home team will still be responsible. For now, this will only apply to non-paragraph 3 matches.

This integration will benefit fans by giving them real-time data straight from the source of truth, the referee!

Mads Hjortshøj Blom from the DBU had this to say about the integration:

"We're excited to elevate our successful partnership with REFSIX. This advanced integration utilises technology to actively involve players, coaches, and supporters, all through the referees' dedicated efforts. It's a significant step forward, benefiting everyone within Danish Football."

REFSIX CEO had this to say about the integration:

"Our mission at REFSIX is to make refereeing more engaging and exciting. With this deepened integration fans across Denmark will see an improved experience by having access to better match data, quicker than before. This is putting the referee at the heart of the match in a new way.'

At REFSIX, we believe the future of football lies in data and technology. We are open to integrations and partnerships with any association that wants to reduce paperwork for officials and gather data from games straight after the final whistle.
