London FA launches REFSIX Pilot with WESFA
We're excited to announce that REFSIX will be used by a select group of referees from the Woolwich and Eltham Sunday Football Alliance from now until the end of the season.
Jason Verrillo, WESFA League General Secretary, “We are delighted to be directly involved in such an innovative pilot scheme. We are always striving for continuous improvements and this pilot scheme drives that criteria in multiple areas of our internal organisation. Efficient administration and timely communication are key for having a successful product. We have had positive feedback from a sample of Referees that have used the watch before the trial commences and they give it a massive thumbs up.
Hassan Rajwani, CEO of REFSIX, “We are extremely excited to partner with the WESFA League and London FA on this pilot. It is a great opportunity to demonstrate the value our product can bring whilst also gathering valuable feedback so we can make it even better in the future.”
London FA have been supporting the pilot and are keen to look at potentially expanding the provision across London to enable more referees and leagues to make use of REFSIX. Head of Engagement and Support, Natalie Doyle commented “This is a really exciting project and an example of how technology can be used to improve the game for our referees and leagues alike. We look forward to seeing the feedback from the pilot and hopefully making this technology available on a wider scale from next season”.
