REFSIX to be used by Referees at this years SuperCupNI

At this years SuperCupNI tournament, previously called the Milk Cup, taking place at venues all around Northern Ireland in late July the referee's will be given a helping hand by refsix.  A selected group of referees will be using refsix during matches on both the Premier and Junior sections.

The smartwatch and mobile app will help referees reduce the administration process pre-match, in-match and post-match.  Referees will use refsix to record teamsheets prior to the game, record key match incidents in the game and then be able to send their match reports directly to the tournament officials after the game.

The SuperCupNI is a youth tournament that has been running annually since 1983 and has involved teams such as Manchester Utd, Chelsea, Barcelona and Bayern Munich.

The tournament has always been a great place to preview some of the stars of tomorrow and includes an impressive alumni of players including Radamel Falcao, Sergio Busquets, Steve McManaman and Paul Scholes.  There are over 30 players playing in this years Euro 2016 who have appeared at the SuperCupNI previously including England players like Marcus Rashford, Wayne Rooney and Harry Kane.

We'll be posting interviews with referees as the tournament progresses to get an insight on how it is to referee on such a prestigious stage as well as sharing their views on using refsix in matches.
