Mike Dean's 99 Red Cards

Going in to his 473rd Premier League game, Mike Dean is on the cusp of setting a first in the Premier League. He could become the first referee to issue 100 Red Cards in their Premier League career. This weekend he has been handed one of the games of the season in the form of Man City vs Chelsea at the Etihad stadium. Mike has referee’d more games than any other match official with Martin Atkinson the closest to him (a full 102 games behind). We went through the archives to find out all about his first 99.
